Commissioned Chairs
Commissioned chairs with a full revival on the upholstery and frame with Vintro Luxury Paints. A great before and after and revival for our client who needed these chairs updated for her newly decorated space. The chairs no longer fitted with the new colour scheme so a concept was made and the chairs commissioned for a revival.
What we did:
Hand painted in Vintro No Seal in Victorian Black on the frame creating a beautiful flat finish with a subtle sheen and a luxurious matt velvety finish. The fabric has been painted by spraying the fabric with water to dampen and then painted in Midnight Chalk Paint along with the braiding then clear waxed making the fabric soft and subtle with a suede like feel. The braiding and detailing of the chair has then been further enhanced with french gold gilding wax.
The chairs which were very traditional now have an edgy avant garde feel to them.
