Commissioned Display Cabinet in Pure White with Duck Egg Wash

Working with our client on a long term project, this exquisite display cabinet was to be revived to go back into the kitchen area. Keeping in theme with our clients crisp white modern kitchen we hand painted this piece in Pure White, to accentuate the beautiful carving and detailing we did a colour wash of Duck Egg blue, then dry brushed pure white back on to it. The entire piece was clear waxed and the internals were finished in Duck Egg blue. This is a large piece beautifully soften by breaking the piece up in two colours with the internals and externals. A finishing touch of silver gilding wax and our client can now reposition this piece in the Kitchen Dining area as a beautiful piece that now ties in with the area as well as linking it to a Duck Egg blue mirror we completed for her earlier which is in the neighbouring hall way. This gorgeous piece has wonderful sentimental value for our client and was un used as it no longer fitted in with the decor.
