Concrete Effect on Table
This table from our Antiques collection has been revived as a merchandise table for the TR Gallery. Originally a varnished oak table has been revived into a concrete effect table. Hand Painted in Dove with texture using Vintro pure Bristle brush, then two coloured waxes were applied to create variation and a concrete effect. The first one was Cloudburst mixed in with Vintro Clear wax, A thin layer of this cloudburst coloured was was applied then dusted off with a rag followed by a thin layer of Champagne waltz coloured wax. A very simple process but extremely effective to create texture, variation in creating an overall concrete effect. An easy process paint, then brush on 2 coloured waxes. A beautiful table now in the TR Gallery used to display homewares
