Ellie: Coastal inspired blue set of drawers
Ellie is a piece from our Antiques collection so comes with history, inspired by beachy NZ summer days we have revived her with a coastal glam feel in mind.
Using a mix of colours underneath, then a predominant layer of French Navy hand painted with lots of texture using a Vintro Pure Bristle brush. The body has then been detailed with Vintro Christabelle wax and with the edges darkened and further detailed with a custom mix coloured wax of French Navy + Victorian Black. Creating a rustic relaxed beachy feel, balanced off with the edges detailed in French gilding wax. Ellie is a beautiful character piece ideal for the bach or coastal style homes for that pop of colour. We envisage her sitting below a beachy print or artwork but think she would also work as a feature piece in a bedroom . Ellie comes with original key and all drawers are still lockable. A beautiful bespoke piece you won't find anywhere other than at Taylored Revival.
