Emme: Low Side Table
Emme is a solid little low side table that comes with history and beautifully revived in the TR Studio. Ideal as piece to sit next to a sofa, or as a side table between chairs, she has plenty of depth ideal for holding a lamp or large decor item. Revived with a coastal style interior in mind, we have created a faux ashy rustic style top with a washed feel to it, all created with Vintro Chalk Paint & coloured waxes. Now a beautiful neutral piece with a great balance of character and elegance. A bespoke hand painted piece you will only find at Taylored Revival.
What we did:
The frame has been painted with Vintro Crystal with a Stonebreaker coloured wax then steel wooled to allow the stonebreaker to sit and softly age and create depth as well as accentuating the lines and curves of the piece.
A new TR handle has been refitted on the piece
The top has a beautiful decorative paint effect on it creating a faux wood top in a ashy neutral with a washed like finish to it and this was created with Pebble Chalk Paint using a Staalmeester pure bristle brush in a linear type stroke, then coloured waxes in a linear motion (listed in order) Dark wax, Victorian Black Wax, Stonebreaker, Pebble,
