Rita is a piece brought over from the UK as part of our Antique collection. She was more than just tired, with many markings from her history, battered but an all round uniquely beautiful piece with a drop front which opens up as a desk. We have worked in with her imperfections and brought them out in a rustic paint finish with texture, plenty of depth and character. She is now a stunning piece with every angle telling a story. Making her imperfectly beautiful and a great feature and showcase character piece in any space. A one off, beautifully hand painted piece from the TR Studio. 

What we did: 
  • Hand painted, blended and mixed on the piece in Vintro Chalk paints;  Nightfall, French Navy & Buckingham 
  • Detailed and aged in a series of Vintro coloured waxes : Victorian Black, French Navy, Deep Saffron, Christabelle 
  • The top has been finished in a raised stencil, and then finished along with internal drop front in Vintro Rose Gold Metallic then aged with dark wax
  • Handles have been replaced and refitted with TR handles the finished in metallics
  • The internals in Vintro No Seal Chalk Paint in a custom mixed colour
