This finish is a complete illusion of layers with depth, strong rustic vibes whilst being luxurious and opulent the perfect finish for these which will be heading into a bedroom with a large Velvet headboard and dressed with large wooden lamps dressed with class and soft furnishings. An advanced technique suitable for those who love rustic and feel like being a little bold... a chameleon rustic finish full of glamour and opulence and definitely one that is hard to capture the depth and beauty in photos but certainly a finish that comes to life when seen in person. Painted the entire bedside with extreme texture using Tahr - Premium Chalk Paint
Artisan coloured wax in Clubhouse Grey
Artisan coloured wax in Wild Tusk
Artisan colour smudge in Liberty - Premium Chalk Paint by diluting this down and smudging the colour in specific areas only.
Tyler Gold - Metallic Glaze then steel wooled back
flicking splatters of gold and Clubhouse Grey
finishing with highlights and shading with Clubhouse Grey wax and Metallic Glide in Forgotten Gold
Brushes used : Spalter brush (1060-20), series 2020 size 18(2020-18), Pure Bristle Brush (3600-20)
