Commissioned Bookcase Bureau
A beautiful commissioned piece created for our clients newly renovated space. Revived to fit into a neutral space, this piece was commissioned to be the pop of colour and the feature piece in our clients space. Hand painted in Arles with texture using Annie Sloan's pure bristle brush, finished with clear wax and carefully detailed and aged with dark wax adding depth and a beautiful patina to the finish. The panel work on the glass has been enhanced with bright gold gilding wax along with the handles and bevels of the piece creating a beautiful balance of rustic and elegance. The internals have been hand painted in Coco a colour that exists in our clients space and drawn in to connect with the space it's going into. Overall our client is now the proud owner of a beautiful bespoke piece revived specifically for her space.
