Commissioned French Style Couch
A gorgeous revival for our client of a large french style couch. Hand painted in old white, lightly distressed and detailed with clear and dark wax with hints of gold accentuating the carvings and curves of this beautifully shaped couch. The old white was painted with texture, giving the couch an authentic look and feel, full of character, a revival fitting to the shape and style of the piece. A simple frame revival for this couch has given the piece a completely different persona, lightened the piece, and lifted the existing upholstery.
