Commissioned Set of Drawers in Victorian Black
A stunning transformation of a set of drawers as a commissioned project. Working in with our client and her interior designer who sourced a round black mirror with a gold trim that hangs above this piece. The chest of drawers needed a revival to fit in with the new look. Victorian Black was chosen, with gold edging. The handles replaced with TR handles and detailed also with subtle gold.
Hand painted with subtle texture using Victorian Black, the surface has then been lightly sanded for a flatter finish, clear waxed for protection as well as creating the richness that makes Victorian Black a sumptuous and luxurious neutral in the Vintro Colour Range. The edges have been detailed with french gilding wax.
A wonderful transformation, and a great showcase of how much impact a paint finish and new handles can have on a piece, allowing you to revive it to perfectly fit in with your space
